Unhavare – Hot springs :
There are natural hot springs are situated in Unhavare Village which is 35km from Dapoli. The hot springs are rich in sulphur which is said to be good for skin.
The Hot springs are its only attraction in the area and Lots of people come from surrounding areas regularly to bath in the Hot Sulphur water springs. Separate shelters are made for men and women to take a dip in the rejuvenating hot water. The water is said to cure skin ailments. There are no charges for taking a bath here.
Panhalakaji Caves are situated in the Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra state, about 160 km south of Mumbai. This cave complex has around 30 Buddhist and Hindu caves. The Panhalakaji caves are located on the Dapoli-Dabhil Pangari road. It is situated deep in the valleys and is surrounded by jungle and river which are filled with birds and reptiles.
The Hinayana sect began carving caves in 3rd century AD, beginning with the stupa in the current Cave 5 The caves have inscriptions in Brahmi and Devanagari script. In the 10–11th century AD another Buddhist group, a Vajrayana sect, established cave 10 with their deities Akshobhya and Mahachandaroshana; and strengthened their practice in that region. Shiva and Ganpatya worshiping started at the site during Silahara rule. There are total 29 caves out of which 28 are situated on the right bank of mou tain stream Kotjai. It is the best place for a history buff of adventure enthusiast.
Kadyavarcha Ganapati :
The Ganesh temple is situated in Anjarle village near Dapoli. It was first constructed with wood in 1150AD and then reconstructed between 1768-1780. The temple has a stone staircase to reach the top of the temple. The view from a top is magnificent. Dedicated to Lord Ganesha, this ancient temple is not only a testament to devotion but also a beacon of heritage and cultural richness. It is particularly known for the right-side placement of the Ganesha’s idol which means it’s trunk curves towards right which is rare.
The historical significance of the temple is rooted in a fascinating legend, in which a local farmer came across the exquisitely carved idol of Lord Ganesha while cultivating his fields
Murud Beach :

The beautiful beach is also known as Tamas Teertha because of the red colour it has in most of the areas by the shoreline.
